EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps people process distressing memories and reduce their emotional impact.

By using bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements, taps, or sounds—EMDR supports the brain in reprocessing traumatic or overwhelming experiences that may be “stuck,” contributing to anxiety, low mood, or unhelpful beliefs.

This approach can bring relief from symptoms related to trauma, stress, and negative self-perceptions, allowing people to feel more grounded and resilient.

Many clients find EMDR helpful because it does not require going into extensive detail about painful events, yet it can lead to significant emotional shifts and long-lasting change.

"The trauma from years ago felt impossible to overcome, but your EMDR work with me, has made a real difference. I’m no longer having nightmares, and I finally feel some peace.

I’m truly grateful for your care.

Warmly, Neil"
